  • Under the supervision of Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus, Chairman of the Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC), and in cooperation with the Board of Governors of the ISX, a contract was signed, on Monday, at the Commission's HQ appointing Mr. Ali Jamal as Executive Director of the ISX.
  • Al-Khatem Telecoms (TZNI) invited its shareholders to receive their cash dividends for the fiscal year 2024, every Thursday at the company's HQ from Sep. 25 to Oct. 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The company decided in its recent AGM (Sep. 9, 2025) to distribute IQD0.094 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 3.0% dividend yield.
  • Baghdad Hotel (HBAG) invited its shareholders to receive their cash dividends for the fiscal year 2024, starting Sep. 16. The company decided in its recent AGM (Aug. 26, 2025) to distribute IQD0.51 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 4.2% dividend yield.
  • Gulf Commercial Bank (BGUC) fulfilled ISX's request to explain why the prices touched the higher limit on Sep. 14 and Sep. 15. The bank disclosed that the reason was supply and demand, along with the upcoming AGM.
  • ISX suspended trading of the second issuance of national bonds starting on Sep. 16, 2025, due to distributing semi-annual interest.

Stocks that resumed / will resume trading:

  • Al-Khatem Telecoms (TZNI) resumed trading on Sep. 16 after holding its AGM on Sep. 9, in which they discussed and approved 2024 annual financial statements, decided to distribute IQD0.094 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 3.0% dividend yield, and the acquisition of a 51% stake in Iraq Mobile Wallet Payment Company (ZainCash).
  • Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance (NGIR) will resume trading on Sep. 21 after holding its AGM on Aug. 8 in which they discussed and approved 2024 annual financial statements.

  • ISX suspended trading of Al-Ameen Estate Investment (SAEI) starting Sep. 17 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 22 to discuss and approve 2024 annual financial statements.
  • ISX suspended trading of Trans Iraq Bank (BTRI) starting Sep. 18 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 23 to discuss and approve 2024 annual financial statements.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Modern Sewing (IMOS) starting Sep. 21 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 24 to discuss and approve 2024 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, and increasing the paid-in capital from IQD2.0 bn to IQD4.0 bn through a 100.0% bonus issue.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Al-Khazer for Construction Materials (IKHC) starting Sep. 23 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 26 to discuss and approve 2024 annual financial statements.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Gulf Commercial Bank (BGUC) starting Sep. 24 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 29 to discuss and approve reversing the decision taken at the Jan. 7, 2025 AGM to subscribe to 50 bn shares, increasing the paid-in capital from IQD300.0 bn to IQD400.0 bn through a 33.33% rights issue, and electing two original and two alternative board members.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Asia Al Iraq Islamic Bank (BAIB) starting Sep. 30 due to the AGM that will be held on Oct. 5 to discuss and approve 2024 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, and the private banking sector reform project paper pursuant to the circular of the CBI No. 9/4/265 dated Jul. 30, 2025 and approving the merger or union with another bank.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Region Trade Bank (BRTB) starting Oct. 7 due to the AGM that will be held on Oct. 10 to discuss and approve the bank's continued operation under its current license and legal entity, while meeting the reform criteria outlined in the draft banking sector reform plan.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Iraqi Agricultural Products Marketing Meat (AIPM) starting Oct. 12 due to the AGM that will be held on Oct. 15 to discuss and approve 2023 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, and electing four original and four alternative board members.
