Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP) has said that production operations have recently restarted at the Shaikan Field in Iraqi Kurdistan, following a security assessment and consultation with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
It said a further update on production and sales will be provided as part of the 2025 Half Year Results, which will be announced on Thursday 28th August.
The statement added that the Company continues to actively engage with government stakeholders regarding a resumption of pipeline exports and remains ready to restart as soon as possible, contingent on securing written agreements.
