The Iraqi Drilling Company (IDC) has completed drilling two oil wells:
- The first well, a delineation well, was drilled in the East Baghdad/Al-Rasheediyah field for the Midland Oil Company (MdOC).
- The second was drilled in the Qayara [Qayyarah] field in Nineveh province for Angola's Sonangol, marking the tenth well delivered by IDC under its contract in that field.
IDC's Director General, Hassan Mohammed Hassan, highlighted that these achievements reflect the Ministry of Oil's strategy to strengthen national capacity in drilling operations. He stressed the company's ability to execute projects with high technical efficiency and strict adherence to timelines and contractual specifications.
