The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has completed the [Shaikan] Sheikhan-Lalish road project in Duhok Governorate, which will soon be opened to the public.
The road spans 9 kilometres in length and 25 metres in width, with a total investment exceeding 26 billion Iraqi dinars [≈ $17.8 million].
Constructed to modern engineering standards using local expertise, it features international-standard markings and safety measures.
