Iraq Stock Exchange

  • Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC) announced its approval of the membership requirements for Iraqi brokerage firms to trade on the Tabadul platform on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), as well as the membership requirements for foreign brokerage firms to trade on the platform on the Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX). This is part of the strategic linkage project between the two markets. (ISC)
  • According to the ISC decision on Oct. 15, 2025, the ISX transferred World Islamic Bank (BWOR) from the Undisclosed Companies Market (UCM) to the Non-Regular Market (NRM) starting Oct. 19, 2025.
  • Iraqi For Tufted Carpets (IITC) invited its shareholders to receive their cash dividends for the fiscal year 2024, starting Oct. 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The company decided in its recent AGM (Aug. 28, 2025) to distribute IQD0.85 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 4.5% dividend yield.
  • Bain Alnahrain Investment (VMES) will hold its AGM on Nov. 26 to discuss and approve the 2022 & 2023 annual financial statements and dividend distribution. The company had already been suspended from trading by the ISC starting Aug. 26, 2024.

Stocks that resumed / will resume trading:

  • Al-Ahlyia for Agricultural Production (AAHP) resumed trading on Oct. 19 after holding its AGM on Oct. 12 in which they discussed and approved the ending year Mar. 31, 2025 financial statements and elected five original and five alternative board members.
  • International Islamic Bank (BINT) resumed trading on Oct. 21 after holding its postponed AGM on Oct. 15 in which they discussed and approved 2024 annual financial statements and elected seven original and seven alternative board members.
  • Credit Bank of Iraq (BROI) will resume trading on Oct. 26 after holding its postponed AGM on Oct. 22 in which they discussed and approved the bank's continued operation in accordance with the requirements of the banking system reform.

Stocks that were suspended / will be suspended from trading:

  • ISX suspended trading of BROI starting Oct. 19 due to the AGM that will be held on Oct. 22 to discuss and approve the bank's continued operation in accordance with the requirements of the banking system reform.
  • ISX suspended trading of National Company for Tourism Investment (HNTI) starting Oct. 21 due to the AGM that will be held on Oct. 26 to discuss and approve different investment projects.
  • ISX suspended trading of Trust International Islamic Bank (BTRU) starting Oct. 22 due to the AGM that will be held on Oct. 27 to discuss and approve 2024 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, and the reform plan based on the letter of the CBI No. 9/4/296 dated Aug. 28, 2025, and voting on choosing the path mentioned in Point Three/B/Merger.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Bank of Baghdad (BBOB) starting Oct. 29 due to the AGM that will be held on Nov. 3 to discuss and approve electing four original and nine alternative board members and meeting the requirements of the banking reform initiative.
  • ISX will suspend trading of AL-Badia for General Trans (SBAG) starting Nov. 10 due to the AGM that will be held on Nov. 13 to discuss and approve electing five original and five alternative board members.
