The Iraqi-French Business Council (IFBC) held a series of meetings in Paris as part of the Iraqi-French Business Forum 2025, engaging with major French companies and institutions to strengthen economic and investment cooperation.

The delegation visited the Innovation Hub of Schneider Electric to review technologies in energy management, digital systems, and smart infrastructure, and to explore opportunities for collaboration with the Iraqi private sector.

At the Iraqi Embassy in Paris, IFBC representatives met French companies and business associations to discuss investment opportunities and challenges, and to outline mechanisms to expand bilateral economic cooperation.

Meetings with the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs focused on easing visa procedures for Iraqi business leaders and supporting wider engagement of Iraqi professionals in international forums. France's removal of Iraq from its travel "red list" was noted as a positive development for business mobility.

A healthcare-focused session with the French Healthcare Association brought together companies including Ginger International and Med In Touch to explore cooperation in pharmaceuticals, hospital infrastructure, medical training, and technology transfer.

The delegation also met Senator Olivier Cadic to discuss strengthening Iraqi-French economic ties and potential future visits to Iraq to observe developments across key sectors.
