His Excellency Dr Salih Husain Ali Al-Tamimi, Ambassador of Iraq to the United Kingdom, received Mohammed Al-Issawi, a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), to review opportunities for expanding international economic collaboration.
Discussions covered the ICC's role in supporting the global business environment, including its work to facilitate cross-border trade and provide arbitration and advisory frameworks for resolving commercial disputes in line with international standards.
The meeting also examined ways to strengthen communication channels between private-sector actors in both countries and to make greater use of advisory expertise to support companies seeking investment opportunities.
Both sides emphasised the importance of continued coordination to promote economic cooperation and support investment initiatives.
