Kirkuk Oil Exports Resume via Ceyhan Port

The Ministry of Oil has announced the resumption of crude oil pumping and exports from Kirkuk through Türkiye's Ceyhan port, with an initial export capacity of 250,000 barrels per day (bpd).

The restart follows an agreement between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), enabling the reactivation of a key export route and improving the flexibility of Iraq's oil export system.

Operations have resumed with the North Oil Company (NOC) restarting the Saralu pumping station.

The ministry said the resumption reflects technical and administrative progress achieved by national teams to restore infrastructure readiness and ensure efficient operations.

A representative from the Kurdistan Region's Ministry of Natural Resources attended the restart, alongside officials from the Ministry of Oil.
