State Cement Company Reports Increased Output

The Iraqi State Company for Cement, part of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, has reported strong production and sales performance for February, supported by stable operations across its plants.

Total production exceeded 676,000 tonnes of various cement types during the month, while sales reached more than 664,000 tonnes, helping to meet domestic demand and support local projects.

The company also recorded year-on-year growth at several plants, including:

  • Kubaisa Cement Plant: +37%
  • Al-Qaim Cement Plant: +17%
  • Sinjar Cement Plant: +14%

Director General Awad Kadhim Abdul Amir said the results reflect sustained efforts by technical and administrative teams to maintain operational stability and improve performance.

The company added that it is continuing to expand production capacity and enhance efficiency to support the national industry and contribute to achieving self-sufficiency in cement supply.
