Ankara's New Kurdish Dance in Iraq Leaves Erbil with the Leading Role

Strengthening a steady rapprochement, Turkiye's Ambassador to Iraq Anil Bora Inan on June 4 met with Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) leader Bafel Talabani and Kurdistan Region Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani.

Reportedly focusing on investment, regional government formation, trade and "other areas of mutual interest," the meeting has been presented by officials on both sides as a milestone.
