International airport management and operations companies have been invited to invest in and develop Mosul International Airport.
Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi made the call during a visit to Mosul on Monday, describing the airport as an important gateway for Nineveh province and for Iraq more broadly.
Al-Zaidi said the government is seeking partners who will do more than build a terminal, and that prospective investors should help make Mosul International Airport a major services hub. The visit also included a review of other development and services projects in the province, including the launch of executive works on the one-million residential plots project.
