Iraq-Italy Business Council Holds Inaugural Meeting

The Iraq-Italy Business Council (IIBC) held its first meeting at its Baghdad headquarters on 20th October, following the issuance of the ministerial decree establishing it. The session was attended by Dr. Malik Al-Duraie, Director General of the Private Sector Development Department, along with members from various Iraqi sectors.

Two days later, IIBC President Salar Saleh met with Matteo Zerini, Second Secretary and Head of the Economic and Cooperation Office at the Italian Embassy in Baghdad, to discuss bilateral economic relations and trade and investment opportunities.
