Uber in Talks to Enter Iraqi Market

Uber is in discussions to enter the Iraqi market under its own brand.

The company's Executive Director for the Middle East met with Transport Minister Wahab Salman Mohammed to explore the opportunity, discussing app-based transport services and knowledge exchange in the transport sector.

The company's representative said that Iraq's improved security environment was a key factor behind the move.
