Direct flights have been launched between Iran's Western city of Oroumiyeh [Urmia] and Erbil in Iraq Kurdistan.
The Director of Oroumiyeh International Airport, Kamal Parhizgar, said the flights would be scheduled on Sundays and Thursdays.
