Name: Abu Khema (also known as Abu Khaymah).
Controlled by: Ministry of Oil (Baghdad).
Location: According to the "Fifth-plus" licensing round information, the area of the field is 294 km², within Al Muthanna Governorate. "One well has been drilled in the field. The field contains oil and associated gas." On announcement of the results of the licensing round, the Ministry of Oil said it has an area of about 1,809 square kilometers.
It was discovered in 1975.
