Name: Zurbatiya (also known as Zarbatia, Zurbatia)
Controlled by: Ministry of Oil (Baghdad).
Location: The area of the exploration block is 360 km², within Wasit Governorate. Two geological structures have been identified in this block, namely: Zurbatiya and Tariq.
Discovery: No wells have been drilled on block. Initial assessment suggested that the block holds oil accumulations.

Contract granted: Fifth-plus licensing round, May 2024. (Had previously been offered, but not awarded, in the fifth licensing round in April 2018.)
