Ministry of Transport has signed a contract with Swiss company to import industrial satellite system to monitor weather changes while the State Foundation of the Civil Air Navigation has allocated Babel building – one of the three passengers' buildings at Baghdad International Airport- to receive passengers of all non-Iraqi air companies.
In statement to as-Sabah newspaper, an official source at the General Metrological and Earthquakes Monitoring Committee said that a contract had been signed with Swiss Teknifia Company to import industrial satellite system working on receiving meteorological photos to monitor the effective meteorological changes in the country.
