Aswat al-Iraq news agency has been chosen on Thursday to receive a media distinction shield in Missan province.
“This is a way to honor the efforts of Aswat al-Iraq,” Saad Hassan al-Zubaidi, head of the Missan branch of the Iraqi Journalists Union, told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
He said that the union aims to honor active media outlets in Missan, which work on relaying clear and unbiased messages to their audiences.
