According to Aswat Al Iraq, Karbala’s local authorities reached an agreement with a delegation of Chinese firms to execute a number of residential projects in the province at a total cost of ID80 billion ($67 million).
“The Chinese delegation will be granted investment permission within the coming days,” a local source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency on Monday.
He noted that the Chinese delegation has been in Karbala for a few days.
