Salahaddin Allocates $34m to Health Sector

Salahaddin [Salah ad Din] provincial council has allocated 40 billion Iraqi dinars ($34.4m) to the development of the health sector in the province.

Ammar Yusuf, the deputy chairman of the council, told AKnews that they decided to allocate this amount to support the health sector, contribute to health projects and address the deficiencies that exist in the province’s hospitals.

Raed Ibrahim, the director general of the Salahaddin Health Department, said that the province’s hospitals will be furnished with modern technological equipment in line with governmental recommendations.
