In a move to showcase Omnnea's Research and Development products, Omnnea will participate at GITEX 2011 in Dubai.
Dr. Faisal Fadul, Omnnea's CEO, said:
"We are proud to be the first Iraqi company to participate in this exhibit where we are given the opportunity to compete in the same arena as the best the world has to offer in research and development."
Omnnea's focus has been to produce products that can assist business and government agencies in the region with an emphasis on security and IT applications.
Omnnea is showcasing two of its products at GITEX; tracking devices designed for security agencies and business applications as well as VOIP gateways with applications suited for the region.
Omnnea is currently engaged in research and development in the areas of wind turbines, solar energy applications, cellular networks and information technology. Omnnea has been serving AAA customers in Iraq including the US embassy in Baghdad, Sheraton, Pepsi, and others.
