Iraqi Dinars "One of the Most Foolhardy Investments you can Make"

A local newspaper in Georgia, USA, reports that some local residents are buying Iraqi dinars in cash form, in the hope of profiting from a revaluation of the currency.

According to the Moultrie Observer, people are buying boxes of crisp Iraqi dinars that look fresh off the printing press. It goes on to quote a local commodities trader as saying he could possibly think of worse investments than Iraqi money at this time, but would be hard pressed to do so:

"If you want to make a wild investment, I'd buy Russian rubles ... It (the dinar) would be one of the most foolhardy investments you can make."

Meanwhile, CNBC columnist Kelley Holland says the dinar is the subject of a variety of scams, and regulators and watchdogs are sounding alarms:

"If someone has been telling you about the rosy prospects for the dinar, please, please, be careful. It's almost certainly too good a story to be true."

On Thursday, Komo News in Seattle, Washington, ran a news report on the dinar and interviewed one woman who had actually bought what she believes to be Iraqi dinars on the internet. You can find the full video report on the next page ...

doc - "Trevor I betcha you those guys even play the lottery and invest in other things and haven’t made a dime"

Actually I trade FX currencies virtually for a living (and that means you have to understand how the Forex market works). Precious metals too (300% profit on Gold isn't bad - and unlike the "Dinar RV" is actual reality). So I do quite well indeed thanks! No need to play the lottery 😉

doc - "Now there are those who have already made money who made this investment 7 or 8 years ago."

Indeed, some have some money through natural appreciation of the Dinar. People who bought at 1400:1 in 2003/4 and sold at 1170:1 yesterday have made a good 20% profit. That is real and valid. Although a 20% profit spread over 9 years is still worse than if you stuck $1,000 into a deposit account at 2% compound interest per year or bought a 10-year deposit bond in 2003. What's more, given the rip-off commission fees some amateur Dinar holders have been suckered into paying, they've seen most of their gain wiped out in exchange fees (and are still around 20-30% down on the granny who put $1,000 into a deposit account in 2003).

What isn't real or valid though is where people declare obviously stupid things - like "Iraq will have 1.5x planet Earth's worth of money and 500x more money than the size of their economy" (the $62bn to $62tn "RV" argument in a nutshell) then expect people to accept those claims on par with both observable reality, objective mathematics and the exact opposite statements made monthly by the people actually in charge of the redenomination. That's not an "alternative misunderstood scenario" - it's just confused self-humiliation.

doc - "Hopefully my comments will bring some enlightenment."

Not really. All you've mostly done is what Trevor and chasting do - endlessly question other people's rights & motivations for discussing in a discussion forum (but as is typical - only people with whom you disagree) and resort to attempts to ridicule as a substitute for any coherent fact-based argument... As I said before (and as is getting proven more and more true by the day) : those who know what they're talking about discuss the economics. Those who don't just endlessly question those who do's rights & motivations for posting. Reading between the lines, I suspect what's upsetting some people here is the lack of "lop censorship" as seen on many pumper boards that arises whenever some Dinar holders get taken out of their comfort zones during debates by someone who knows what they're talking about...

I know almost nothing about gardening or motorbikes. Yet if I turned up to a serious gardening / biker forum and started throwing around obviously stupid declarations like "An acorn can grow into a 100ft oak tree in the space of 24 hours - have faith dude!" or "Yamaha motorcycles can do 250,000mph. Anything's possible - who knows the REAL TRUTH about combustion engines? Yamaha engineers are lying to you man - you gotta listen to Billybob of Arkansas!!!", then actively avoided producing any proof when asked, demanded that my opinions be accepted "with equal merit", and engaged in general hit and run style posts, and character attacks - that would not be "debate" - it would be widely regarded as "trolling".

I respect anyone who attempts to engage in debate - even if I disagree (see my exchange with "cabio" above) - but no-one has done that recently precisely because there is no economic or mathematical truth or proof (or even possibility) for the "RV", and previous excuses are being swallowed less and less now that the CBI are contradicting and debunking more of them every month. People have turned up, posted incorrect facts (some out of confusion / innocence - others with obvious propaganda that got debunked years ago), some dealt with it like grown adults - but some others got angry and resorted to sniping when corrected after falsely seeing the simple truth as a "personal attack on their investment" or "insult". It's obvious "who's who" from simply seeing which names are actively running away from any attempt to address any fact-based point made on the actual redenomination process yet suddenly return a week later with yet more empty personal sniping - and talking about people rather than to them...

    Have a good evening all.

PS : True enlightenment (in the Buddhist sense) involves "ditthi" - ending suffering by viewing reality as it is, and not how you want it to be (eg, ignoring facts and twisting definitions because someone promised you free money from a bank-note swap). From that perspective, Doc, I completely agree for your call for more enlightenment here 😉

This thread has become so incredibly toxic. It has gotten so bad that folks like LZ are even commenting against faith. FAITH! Really? It has gotten so bad that open dialogue doesnt exist here. Every comment is greeted with sarcasim. This will be my last post here. Any comments to this post wont make it to me. Im setting up the ole junk mail filter for this blog link.Im holding dinar, proud to say it, and my faith in it will bring me peace whether it be cash or toilet paper i really dont care. Your comments are just not nice regarding these good people who believe in it. Whats it matter to you that we believe? It puzzles me why your so passionate about shooting down dreams. Do something useful. Go feed the poor or help out at the goodwill but just do something useful. If you do nothing at all at least do us all a favor and shut down this toxic silly blog. Last post. FAITH signing off....Over.Out.

  3. Trevor Tremain 3rd June 2012 at 14:33 #

Hi Doc, I totally agree with everything that you have said, but Barry, Stew, Liz etc, aren't interested in what anyone has to say, especially if it differs to their point of view. I just wonder what is their motive for doing so, it's not as though it is their money we have spent on the Iraqi Dinar, it's as though they are trying to convince us to get rid of the Iraqi Dinar that we have bought. Yep it sounds like you and I are right on the same page, and I sure hope that we are right, time will tell.

I'll say it again, I would be the first one to discourage anyone from using their life savings or to borrow money to buy Iraqi Dinar, as it may not turn out to be any good, we just don't know. Thought one would think that BS, and L know????????? Well they think that they do?

Yep Chasting, the insults keep coming.

  4. Barry 3rd June 2012 at 15:42 #

chasting - "If you do nothing at all at least do us all a favor and shut down this toxic silly blog"

Finally you reveal your true colours - if you can't debate respectfully and honestly - resort to calls for censorship and for deleting anything that you disagree with. So I was right about your core intention all along...

  5. John Richardson 3rd June 2012 at 16:16 #

Well said Barry. There is an absolute gold mine of information on this IBN site - very informative - and there has been good debate here despite the recent attempts at two or three trolls like Chasting & Trevor trying to disrupt and shut down debate. It's obvious who is running scared of face to face debate on the redenomination.

Latest news from the CBI (less than a week old) : 29th May 2012:-

"The deletion of zeros from the Dinar will transfer the Dinar's total value in circulation from trillions to billions. The deputy governor of Central Bank of Iraq Mohammed Saleh said in an interview for "Alsumaria News" that the "project to delete three zeros from the Iraqi currency will move Iraq's currency value from trillions to billions, so the Iraqi Dinar will move from having 12 to 9 zeroes during the redenomination".

That was on "Alsumuria TV" (live Iraqi TV news channel) this week. It's a "lop". Deal with it people. "We don't know what will happen" is just deep denial / pride talking.

PS : Maybe Iraq Business News staff could write an article on what the Central Bank of Iraq are actually saying and explain in plain English exactly what a "redenomination" involves? That would be a very popular article (and much needed given the widespread ignorance)!

Ignore the haters Barry & Stew and keep the debate going! Good job!

  6. LZ 3rd June 2012 at 18:24 #

    What does &Amp mean?

  7. Barry 3rd June 2012 at 18:59 #

John - Hey thanks John. I second the call for IBN staff to write a detailed article on the Dinar redenomination - and what happens during the process (3 digits get removed, currency value increases to 1.17:1 (from 1170:1), new currency banknotes introduced to be exchanged at 1:1000, ie, 10 New Dinar for 10,000 current Dinar, etc), bank accounts adjusted, all goods & services get repriced, ATM's, cash registers & money checking / counting / teller machines all get changed, accounting software & methodology gets changed, etc. It might then highlight the absurdity of those still thinking "it'll be done overnight in secret - this weekend my source says!" 😉

As for the trolls, agreed! And thanks for the heads-up with yet another monthly CBI TV interview redenomination clearly stating a "lop". "No-one will know what will happen!". LOL 😉

LZ - "What does &Amp mean?"

Hi LZ. It's HTML code for the Ampersand symbol &. Try reloading your browser / clearing the cache / test the page in another browser (Firefox / Chrome, etc) if you still see them. Ampersands are displaying fine on mine (Firefox), so it might be either a temporary server or web browser glitch you're experiencing?

  8. Stew 3rd June 2012 at 19:11 #

Chasting showed up with comments like this.

“I can only assume you have not learned all there is to know about this currency. If you would only do your diiligence i feel your opinion would most certainly change.”

“lz, could you please provide me with “stew’s stats”? with anything I do, I wish to research and see things from all perspectives. I would like to view what he says about this and break it down from there. Always 2 sides to anything. I feel I can challenge some of it and be open minded on other comments.”

Chasting never presented one single fact that I saw. Didn’t challenge a single thing I or Barry said.
He obviously hadn’t done quite as much diligence as he thought he had. That’s what happens when dinar know it alls wonder out into the real world and run into real facts about the dinar and world economics. Some will continue to parrot the lies and deception that the sheltered controlled dinar sites programed into them. Others like Chasting resort to the “shut this conversation down” tactic. That’s works on the dinar boards… but not here.
Thanks to IBN for allowing a truly open and honest debate of the Iraqi Dinar.

It's quite obvious that there are those who can't respect others who views are different then theirs. Many smart guys have lost millions in the stock market by investing in things that they were told would be a great investment as well as there are those who have made money what others were convince was a bad investment. Now who really can say that the iraqi dinar is a bad investment?Only those that feel like it is.It hasn't lop yet??And that's a fact, can it lop, time will tell. Can it bring a return time will tell. Now I notice that none of y'all are willing to address my other statements.I'm quite sure that some of you have made investments whereby you lost money. But apparently you guys will not be honest about that.ANY and all investments have risks involved and you guys know it,if yall are real investors. So with all your references from those who totally agree with y'alls views some of us can do the same by referencing those who are professionals who have invested in the iraqi dinar just like us.

  12. DOC 4th June 2012 at 20:17 #

They want to keep you in a constant state of anticipation. "better get more dinars before Tuesday or you'll be sorry. " the top secret info has their sources jumping for joy. They post instructions on what to do with your new wealth. They post animated characters celebrating that the secret is out and the RV is done.
A few days go by and the next plan to keep you interested goes in place without a mention of the hand job you just received. After a few years, even the stupidest hillbilly will see past the BS.

  16. Barry 5th June 2012 at 00:32 #

"It’s quite obvious that there are those who can’t respect others who views are different then theirs. Many smart guys have lost millions in the stock market by investing in things that they were told would be a great investment as well as there are those who have made money what others were convince was a bad investment"

People do not respect mis-selling scams - you're right - why should they just to make you feel better about them? Acquiring a few Dinar banknotes before a redenomination is no more an "investment" than acquiring a few Spanish Pesata's before the Euro introduction & redenomination. Comparing Dinar banknotes to the stock market is a joke as the only equivalent that could happen is if people were walking around saying "Buy a Dow Index tracker tomorrow because the Dow is going to leap up from 12,100 to 12.1m overnight"). It's both a ridiculous straw-man and false analogy.

Doc, just like chasting & Trevor - the reason you don't get any respect is because all you've done is incessantly whine about other people whilst running away from engaging in any fact-based economic debate whatsoever with a bellicose overly-defensive attitude. Your claim of "not listening" is nonsense. I have listened and did respond - you're just endlessly falsely playing the "poor me" victim card by declaring that if someone disagrees with you, then you're the victim of "their abuse".

As for phrases like "unlearned" - that's absolutely true - not insulting - just a valid observation. If people knew how the Forex market worked, they wouldn't come out with half of the embarrassing false claims that they do based on nothing more than debunked conspiracy theories and manufactured rumors by people who were also involved in other proven cons in the past (CMKM penny stock fraud, false LLC legal advice, etc).

"BTW It is a currency and I got mine from a BANK who still exchange for it.LOL I guess this american bank is a liar too.Apparently yall haven’t done y’alls research. Barry are you denying that it’s a currency?"

You sound wildly confused. No-one said the currency itself is a scam - what is a scam is the way it's mis-sold on the back of overnight 99,000% "profits" and "pumped" by people who are related to or get a cutback from Dinar sellers advertised on pumper sites complete with rip-off commission fees... As for the other parts of your posts - they've already been answered above. Might be best to read through them from page 1 rather than jump in at page 6 demanding what has already been given...

There are no "pro's" of changing $1,000 of Dollars for $1,000 worth of Dinar and back again to $1,000 Dollars (minus commission fees) any more than there is for Euro's, Canadian $, Kuwait Dinar's or Iranian Rials (who are also planning to redenominate). Banknotes are not an "investment", they're just a zero-sum game revenue neutral means of exchange.

When you hand over $1,000 for 1.17m Dinar at a rate of 1170:1, someone on the other end of that transaction has to buy your Dollars at a rate of $0.0008547 per Dinar. And when you convert them back the reverse applies. This is basic high school level maths a child of 12 can understand. If you cannot (or do not to due to being blinded by greed) understand it by the time you're a grown adult, then yes you are "unlearned" on both economics & maths. When I say 1,000 divided by 1,000 = 1, and you then claim that "1,000 divided by 1,000 = 1,000" and then claim to be a "victim" of "abuse" for not "respecting your belief", that's not "disrespectful" - it's just trolling / self-delusion / deep confusion.

"Now I notice that none of y’all are willing to address my other statements"

What statements? That you follow Roger Dorman (Dinar Daddy)? He's a conman who has his other family members run Currency Vault whilst claiming they're unrelated - then backtracking and admitting they are at a later date before quickly changing the links on his page to avoid legal action. As for DD's claims on the Dinar, well let's take a look at a couple:-

"[Dinardaddy] Everyone I speak with, or read, or hear of that seems to be connected is saying it will happen this month." Dec 15 2009

"[DinarDaddy] I heard from one contact that said a source of his told him there is a 100% chance of RV by Monday the 21st [Dec 2009]. The expectation was in the $2+ range." Dec 18 2009

Look at the dates. Every single week since then the same thing. I simply do not understand why any "respect" should be given to someone addicted to proven lies recycled year after year by proven compulsive liars... Maybe you read "Breitling’s Blog" and "Planet Dinar" (Blaino) too both of which have their amusing disclaimers of : “WARNING! This site is for entertainment purposes only” at the bottom?... Do you understand why that's there on pumper sites yet not on legitimate forex boards?

Conspiracy theories are not truth. Nor are the words of conmen. Nor is shouting "THE 'RV' WILL HAPPEN BECAUSE I WANT IT TO" (the adult equivalent of "I want a pony") increasingly louder. Nor is false-hope addiction. Nor is declaring basic proven facts of the redenomination as "your opinion" just because you don't like them. And intensely held beliefs in conspiracy theories and what people want in life also do not (nor should not) automatically command any respect purely because "it's my belief".

We are in 2012. This is not the 2003-2008 era of ambiguity where there were few official statements on the Dinar's redenomination and "the jury was out" on what would happen and all sorts of people made up all sorts of half-plausible things to fill the vacuum. Since 2010, the monthly truth of the redenomination has become very clear from all aspects - the Central Bank of Iraq (the people in charge of it) have said it, the Iraqi Finance Committee have said it, the Iraqi Parliament have said it, the IMF have said it, Iraqi news channels have said it, Iraqi TV & radio stations have said it, professional Forex boards, neutral investment boards (like this one) have said it... This is where credibility goes straight out of the window where people start claiming "no-one will know" after they've made dozens of clear repeated statements spelling out exactly what they'll do on live TV every month...

"No-one can possibly know what Iraq will do", “It’s just speculation” and "anything can happen" is now just emotional denial. We do know their plan (the lop was explained yet again to 30m Iraqi's on Iraqi TV last week) - some people just cannot handle / don’t want to emotionally accept it after spending so long in an abnormal, unhealthy heightened state of perma-excitement (several years for some people), that it has ended up a self-blinding "euphoria addiction". LZ's post points out some of the obvious absurd "expectation reinforcement" propaganda tactics of "OMG! How many Porsche's are you going to buy" BS on pumper sites. They are designed solely to whip blind followers up into a frenzy to keep their attention on their ego's, desires and the cult of personalities they follow - and away from obvious facts:-

“Mahma Khalil, Member of the Iraqi Parliament and official spokesperson of the Economic Committee stated that the new bill will be printed by a European company and introduced to the market gradually and in a well-planned schedule to ensure the redenomination will not result in shocks and would not have a negative impact on the market,” explained MP Khalil. He added the exchange rate between the new banknotes and the old ones would be 1:1,000.

Nov 28th 2011 – “Deputy chairman of the ICB Dr Muzher Saleh said the bank is working to issue the new currency in addition to coins in both Arabic and Kurdish. This will include a new 50 Dinar bill with a value of $43 (50,000 current note Dinar).”

What part of "50,000 current and 50 post-redenomination Dinars will both be worth approx $43" are you still having trouble understanding, Doc?

Yep Doc, name calling that's their way of dealing with us, eg Liz's reply to you, " stupidest hillbilly's". As for me, I'm not going to respond to them, as I have said, at least we agree that we may loose some of what we have invested, but I also think that I could do very well out of what I have bought. Also they say that several 000 are going to be removed, but no comment on the latest news that the Iraqi Govermnent has put off indefinitely doing so, I think that is just talk, for what reason, who knows. Proberbly they don't even know themselves. Hang in there Doc, one day we will see who is right, gee if we are, won't we have the last laugh, and I'll bet that we won't hear from these lots, poof GONE, never to be heard from again.

If this delete 3 zero thing is as the pumpers and gurus claim, a big RV. Then why in the heck are they postponing it? Who in their right mind would be against this if what the scammers claim is right? According to them Iraq and its people will all prosper greatly. All countries holding dinar will cash in big, get oil for dinar forever, and get out of debt. Tons of millionaires will be created overnight… stimulating economies all over the world, along with more money for the countries collecting taxes from the new millionaires. This RV according to these con men will rescue the entre world from all it’s economic woes! There is absolutely no downside to this thing according to the gurus. It’s a win win win win win situation.
Again… who is against this and why?

  23. Barry 5th June 2012 at 08:24 #

Just to clarify what I said earlier if people didn't understand it, in addition to the "RV" scam, "Dinar Daddy" (Roger) has also been shovelling the bogus "LLC" scam. This where he promises that if you create an LLC (with help from a friend of his who charges a fee of course), then you'll be "immune to both debts racked up and tax on your $1m from the RV". This is blatant nonsense twice over:-

    1. First up, in reality, LLC's limit your liability to debts to a fixed sum of whatever initial investment you put into it - you cannot go around taking out massive loans under an LLC you've created, pocketing the cash yourself then claiming "It's my money but not my debt dude" as that's basically fraud / embezzlement (specifically "conversion")! Since the LLC isn't "you", you have to justify and audit everything just like a proper business / charity. You cannot treat LLC's like just another personal bank account helping yourself at will whilst simultaneously claiming "I have nothing to do with the debt, dude". Many tax evaders have learned that lesson the hard way...

    2. There is no "tax" on swapping $1k of banknotes for one currency for $1k in another and back again, as it's a revenue neutral process. If you bought Euro's for a vacation then didn't change them back afterwards and years later they appreciated by 20% vs the $, would you be "taxed" by the currency exchange cashier changing them back? No.

What's more - for U.S. federal income tax purposes, an LLC is treated by default as a pass-through entity. If there is only one member in the company (as DD is promoting them), then the LLC is treated as a “disregarded entity” for tax purposes, and an individual owner would report the LLC’s income or loss on Schedule C of his or her individual tax return, ie, even if you were taxed on changing up your $1k of banknotes, an LLC wouldn't protect you anyway! Even for LLCs with multiple members as a partnership, the default tax status is required to report income and loss on IRS Form 1065. Under partnership tax treatment, each member of the LLC, as is the case for all partners of a partnership, annually receives a Form K-1 reporting the member's distributive share of the LLC's income or loss that is then reported on the member's individual income tax return.

This is yet another example of chronic dishonesty / misinformation by Dinar pumpers who throw out any semi-plausible sounding which simply isn't true in real life then bundle layer upon layer of lie after lie to keep the initial lie told alive... In the case of "LLC's for Dinar's" it's basically "expectation reinforcement propaganda" (ie, a confidence trick) designed to "suggest" that people will "need" them because "they'll be millionaires" from swapping $1k worth of Dinar's back to $1k worth of Dollars. In reality - it's flat out nonsense all aspects : legally, economically, mathematically & financially...

They are adamant about it being whatever,I made the investment and i'm willing to wait and see.I bought my several mils from a Bank.I was convinced by a banker who had invested in it and THEY convinced me.It wasn't a teller but a banker in an office.I never heard anything about a guru etc.So whomever have a problem with ROGER BEING WHOEVER.Matter of fact I will have ALI ON my radio show this SUNDAY NIGHT.Now if you're interested in challenging him let me know. Now don't y'all become a coward now.BTW why hide behind a blog anyway? Why not challenge some of those GURU'S ON their CONF CALLS since yall have so much info and yall trying to save folks from losing there money.Notice Me and TREVOR DON'T have a problem with our investment. But u good folks who I believe got some DINAR STASHED AWAY JUST IN CASE.LOL Y'ALL are hilarious

doc - "Lol no one has reference the gurus"

Yes you did on the previous page : "Dinar Daddy gave his opinion of the possibility of a redenom, but never said it in the absolute." So you obviously do read him (and did reference him)...

doc - "Btw I have some other currency as well. That I got from the bank. That’s right I got it from the Bank."

And the punchline is?... You seem to want other people to be impressed that you managed to walk into a bank and change up some $ for other currencies as if the existence of the other 181 currencies on Earth were some ground breaking revelation just recently discovered! I'm honestly not sure what to say in response to that! 😉

You can't say anything!Yes I got it from a bank and can still get more from a bank if I choose too. With all your big shot talking I just wonder how I was able to get it from them if it was such a BIG SCAM?????I see the scam very clear now and it ain't just with the GURU'S EITHER LOL.Man y'all are so full of yourself it's pathetic.lol But I assume this is your BLOG PAGE THAT i STUMBLE UPON??Enjoy yourself and have a good time with your onesided view.BUT if you're wrong I hope you will give your dinar away to someone who can use them to obtain a better life in this world.

  28. jdog 5th June 2012 at 09:19 #

Wow! Can we all just agree to disagree? Unless anyone of you can actually prove your case...(nobody has hard proof for a yes or a no) Yall havin too much fun wasting ur time on this. Let them spend their money the way they want (dinar) And turn all that neg energy into ur real lives and Actually... HELP somebody ( face to face) where it Actually counts, cause you are not Actually helping anyone here (Hello?). So give stew and his friends a break and let them outside for some air and some more DINAR! XD . thank you! God Bless.

  29. Barry 5th June 2012 at 09:28 #

".With all your big shot talking I just wonder how I was able to get it from them if it was such a BIG SCAM???"

Again - you're just wildly confused. Acquiring Dinar banknotes is legal. Mis-selling them isn't. Why you cannot mentally comprehend these simple facts is beyond me... The rest of your post is just a fear-based overly-defensive emotional rant.

"I was convinced by a banker who had invested in it and THEY convinced me"

LOL. And where do you think bankers get most of their FX profits from? Commission fees, perhaps? It's pretty "shocking", but bankers usually try and sell you their own products & services from which they take a cut...

"BTW why hide behind a blog anyway?"

You appear not to understand the point of a discussion forum...

"Matter of fact I will have ALI ON my radio show this SUNDAY NIGHT"

WOW! Is that "Ali" of "Dinar Trade"? The same Ali who charges a rip-off $150 fee to change your $1,000 of Dinar's back into $850? The same "Ali" who after spending years stating he will "honor all refunds" ceased trading for ages after claiming that "his family were threatened" but in reality because he was slapped with a lawsuit, a $20,000 fine and a cease and desist order for unlicensed trading by the Arkansas Securities Dept?:-

"By agreement and with the consent of the Staff and the authorized representative of Dinar Trade, it is hereby ordered that Dinar Trade shall be responsible for the payment of a civil penalty in the amount of $20,000.00 to the Arkansas Securities Department. The violations by Dinar Trade support an assessment by the Commissioner of a civil penalty against pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. 2365-805.."
    http://www.securities.arkansas.gov/!userfiles/Orders/2011/Consent%20Order%20C-11-0205-11-OR02.pdf

So after telling everyone "no-one references the guru's", it turns out you run radio shows hosting Dinar guru salesmen who were previously fined for illegal unlicensed Dinar sales activity and forced to shut down their unlicensed Dinar Sales sites until they acquired a proper securities license and who subsequently lie about the reasons for their "off-air" time with bogus "victimisation" assassination conspiracy theories? You've just destroyed any credibility you have on your "radio shows"...

  30. Doc 5th June 2012 at 15:57 #

Barry save your energy sir. You're the one that confuse.Very confuse.

  31. Doc 5th June 2012 at 16:08 #

  33. Barry 5th June 2012 at 16:29 #

Give your silly name-calling a rest Doc, as I'm not going to sink to your level and respond in kind despite your increasingly frightened emotional outbursts. The above document is clear for all to see. He wasn't jailed because it wasn't a jailing offence. He was fined for not having a license for acting as a currency exchange broker whilst pretending to be one - and the above document even has his signature on page 3 of the document "Ali Agha, Dinar Trade Inc" agreeing to pay the fine. Objective verifiable fact. There is simply nothing left to debate beyond your cult of personality addiction as a substitute for any coherent argument / facts.

BTW : In response to your earlier post, your assumption that I "own this blog" is false. I'm not owner, author or moderator, just a commenter. If you can't even work that out, well that certainly explains a lot...

  34. Doc 5th June 2012 at 16:30 #

U r obsess apparently with the iraqi dinar and the gurus.Whoever they may be.LolWow Now tell us how many dinars do u have?mmn I thought so,just lie or evade the question like u so wisely haven done.Btw get you some dong too.lol

  35. Stew 5th June 2012 at 16:33 #

Doc... can you give me the info for your show. I'd love to call in and talk to Ali or any other guest you might have.
    Thanks

  36. Doc 5th June 2012 at 16:34 #

Lol u have all the answers. It wasnt a jail offense?lolWhat you are implying is a jail offense, apparently u don't know the law amart guy.lol

  37. John Richardson 5th June 2012 at 16:36 #

That document is amazing Barry. I knew there was something fishy about Ali and how Dinar Trade suddenly ceased trading with a lame excuse but to actually find the official document and Case No (C-11-0205) of his fraud, how much he's earned from his scam, and how much he's been fined. Wow. Good find!

PS : Ignore the emotional trolls like Doc. You can literally feel the fear in their words. That's why they have to hide behind their funny celebrity "heroes" (who are proven liars in every respect). Better to focus on answering people's questions than to keep feeding the haters once they start shrieking "coward! coward!" like a seven year old. Have a good one 😉

  38. Barry 5th June 2012 at 16:47 #

doc - "It wasnt a jail offense?lolWhat you are implying is a jail offense, apparently u don’t know the law amart guy.lol"

Doc, your posts are now barely legible. Are you really that thick that you don't understand the difference between a criminal offence (murder, rape, etc) resulting in a potential custodial sentence and a civil offence (operating without license, copyright infringement, parking ticket, etc) usually resulting in fines?

John - Thanks. And I think you're right. I'm beginning to the the impression "Doc" is playing trolling people for his ego. Christ, he can barely talk properly...

  39. DOC 5th June 2012 at 17:29 #

Lol Now I can barely talk,y'all can do better then that fellows.Old it trick in the book GURUS

  40. DOC 5th June 2012 at 17:30 #

HILARIOUS JUST TO SEE U GUYS,admiring each others hot air comments.LOL amazing.

  41. DOC 5th June 2012 at 17:35 #

It's always good to see ppl enjoying each other.BTW how many dinars do u fellows have????????I think yall better make sure they aren't from a fraudulent dealer.

  42. Stew 5th June 2012 at 17:39 #

Doc. Are you going to provide me with the conference call info so I can call in?

  43. Barry 5th June 2012 at 17:41 #

Doc - "Btw get you some dong too.lol"

It really is harder for any man to humiliate himself more. The reason Vietnam has such high denominated notes in its currency is plain and simple hyper-inflation (like Zimbabwe & 1920's Germany). For years inflation was over 400% - and even after it recently fell, it still hits 23% today. At one point, Vietnamese people started ditching Dong for gold coins to buy cars & houses with because bank-note denominations couldn't keep up with price rises. This is just hilarious to think people like Doc genuinely think hyper-inflation and soaring prices is "undervalued wealth" when a foreign amateur buys some notes...

Houses on Doi Can Street are now trading at 160 million dong per square metre, while the ones on Phan Boi Chau, Nguyen Truong To and Pho Duc Chinh at 250 million dong per square metre. Not per house - per square meter. Overall, a 50m2 small apartment sells for 12.5bn Dong (that's how hyper-inflated the currency is - second only to Zimbabwe - and for exactly the same reason - hyper-inflation).

In fact, there's zero difference between the Vietnamese "5,000,000 Dong Ngan Phieu" bank-note and the below bank-note - they have the same diluted value for exactly the same reason:-
    http://www.banknotenews.com/files/page0_blog_entry316_4.jpg

Let me guess Doc, you believe that if you bought a small apartment house for $35k, you'll be "given $730m post RV" when you sell it to the average Vietnamese buying family earning approx $1,800 per year. Or alternatively, you'll be given $1m in cash for changing back $47.93 of Dong for Dollars. And you tell people to "get an education"? Words fail me...

The Dong "RV" is even more laughable than the Dinar "RV" as given its 20,862 rate vs the $ and its 1,080,225,898,000,000 (one quadrillion) units of currency in circulation, for it to "RV" 1:1 vs the Dollar without a lop would require approximately 20x planet Earth's worth of money in all currencies combined - and would end up being 25,000x more money than the size of Vietnam's economy...

In a way I can't help but laugh Doc. If there's one person that was going to get simultaneously suckered by the "Dong RV", it had to be you. Have a good evening. LOL. 😀

  44. LZ 5th June 2012 at 17:41 #

    Doc,
Please give us info on this radio show and what bank and banker told yall that this was a good investment?

  45. Trevor Tremain 5th June 2012 at 17:42 #

Hey Doc your wasting your breath on them!!! Now they can feel the fear in our words, OH THAT IS JUST SO FUNNY. Afraid, I'm not even concerned, which ever way my investment turns out. In fact I am completely at peace with my decision to buy IQD as an investment, see Doc it's only money, not someone's life that I am risking with my investment in these IQD that I have bought.
Jog, totally agree with you, I'm not trying to prove that the other side is wrong, and I am right as they are determained to try and do. All I am stating that I have purchased 4 mill IQD, and that only time will tell my decision was a correct one or not. I am happy even to admitt that I could be wrong, but not these lot of goody two shoe, know it alls, WHO JUST CAN''T BE WRONG, heaven forbid it.
They seem to know all about the so called scammers involved with the illegal sale of IQD, so why don't they go onto their blog sites and warn everyone that go there for advise???? If selling IQD is so illegal, why doesn't eBay stop the sale of them on eBay, because they stop other legal sale (that they know of). If this lot have the proof that such sales are illegal then why don't they warn eBay about it, maybe eBay hasn't heard about the scam?

  46. DOC 5th June 2012 at 17:44 #

  47. DOC 5th June 2012 at 17:55 #

  48. DOC 5th June 2012 at 17:58 #

    Trevor they are wanna bes.lol

  49. Stew 5th June 2012 at 18:04 #

Doc. I have asked you a number of times now for the contact info for your show that you challenged us to call into. Are you going to provide the info? Or can we just assume you were simply posturing and bloviating?

  50. John Richardson 5th June 2012 at 18:07 #

B: "The Dong “RV” is even more laughable than the Dinar “RV” as given its 20,862 rate vs the $ and its 1,080,225,898,000,000 (one quadrillion) units of currency in circulation, for it to “RV” 1:1 vs the Dollar without a lop would require approximately 20x planet Earth’s worth of money in all currencies combined – and would end up being 25,000x more money than the size of Vietnam’s economy…"

OMG! That's too funny! Some people really are that blinded by greed, though, that any and all common sense of what's not just unlikely but actually physically impossible get suspended. Maybe that's what Ali will tell Doc tonight - that he has secret "intel" which involves pooling the resources of the nearest 20 galaxy cluster star systems including our extra-terrestrial neighboring Pleiadian, Syrian, Andromedan alien cousins - and all that money will go to those "lucky" ones who were "clever" enough to buy currencies suffering from hyper-inflation in the belief that "weak currencies are stronger than strong ones"... 😀

I swear this is unintentional self-parody at its finest.
