Iraq's Ministry of Planning said that inflation in Iraq for the period from June 2011 to June 2012 has been running at a reported 5.8 percent.
This figure is down from the 6.2 percent reported in May, and the 6.7 percent in April.

This is good news for the redenomination of the dinar. A low stable inflation rate is much prefered when lopping zeros from a currency.
