Aircraft from the US led Coalition in Iraq have attacked 15 targets in Iraq in the past 24 hrs, according to an official statement from the "Combined Joint Task Force," better known as the US led Coalition.
As per recent waves of strikes, the latest attacks were centred on Ramadi, where an ongoing operation is focusing on removing ISIS from the city of over half a million people. In the same time period, 5 air strikes hit near Raqqa in Syria.
The larger number of strikes in Iraq is possibly indicative of the advantage of having allied forces on the ground to identify targets.
Other strikes targeted ISIS positions in Mosul, nearby Tal Afar and Fallujah, which has been under ISIS occupation since January 2014.
