Iraq's Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities has said it has made significant progress on the construction of low-cost housing units in Babylon through its subsidiary, Al-Fao Engineering Company.
The project includes 480 housing units, along with service buildings such as a mosque, kindergarten, and administrative offices, as well as external infrastructure like parking areas.
The first phase, consisting of 300 apartments, is 90-percent complete, while the second phase of 180 apartments is fully finished, with only final touches remaining.
