200 Masters Scholarships for Iraqi Students in Tourism

UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Secretary-General, Zurab Pololikashvili, met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani during is visit to Madrid, to discuss strategies for revitalizing Iraq's tourism industry.

The talks emphasized Iraq's rich religious, archaeological, and natural heritage, aligning with the government's goal to attract global visitors and drive economic growth.

The UNWTO pledged support through innovative programs and services to enhance Iraq's tourism capabilities. Pololikashvili also announced 200 scholarships for Iraqi students to pursue online master's degrees in tourism-related fields, underscoring a commitment to building local expertise in the sector.
