The American University of Iraq - Baghdad (AUIB) has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the English International School - Baghdad (EISB), establishing a framework for collaboration in education and training.
The agreement includes structured internship opportunities at EISB for AUIB students pursuing teaching and education-related degrees, as well as pathways for EISB students to enter AUIB's academic programmes.
AUIB President Dr. Bradley Cook highlighted the partnership as a step toward strengthening Iraq's education sector, while EISB Academic Director Timothy Shanahan said the agreement would enable students to receive world-class higher education in Baghdad, without needing to study abroad.
The MoC also outlines further collaboration, including professional development programmes for teachers and administrators, academic counselling services, joint conferences, admission fairs, and events on leadership, innovation, and global competencies.
