Preliminary Results of Iraqi Election (By Governorate)

Iraq's Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) has just announced the preliminary results of yesterday's parliamentary election (see below). Turnout was considerably higher than last time, at 56 percent.

• Duhok
• Karbala
• Kirkuk
• Missan (Maysan)
• Muthanna
• Najaf
• Ninewa
• Qadissiyah
