Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services has confirmed new dates for the 50th Baghdad International Fair, scheduled to take place from 23-29 January 2027.
The company, which operates under the Ministry of Trade, said the new schedule replaces the previously planned dates of 1-7 February 2027.
Director General Dr Mustafa Al-Ani said the adjustment was made following a review of logistical and organisational considerations, as the earlier dates would have coincided with the month of Ramadan next year.
He added that the revised timing is intended to facilitate broader participation by Arab and international countries and companies, while ensuring optimal conditions for organising the event.
Preparations are already underway for the 50th edition of the Baghdad International Fair, which officials describe as a landmark "golden jubilee" edition aimed at strengthening Iraq's economic and trade relations with countries around the world.
