The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority (ICAA) has announced on Monday afternoon that Iraqi airspace has been re-opened.
This follows the announcement on Sunday evening of the temporary closure of Iraqi airspace for 72 hours, citing regional security developments.
In a separate announcement on Sunday, the head of the ICAA, Mr. Bankin Rekani, dismissed claims that a civilian plane had crashed within the Iraqi territory.
