New Partnership to Market Chinese Vehicles in Iraq

The General Company for Cars and Machinery Trade, an affiliate of Iraq's Ministry of Trade, has signed a partnership agreement with Laith Al-Obaidi Company for General Trade and Commercial Agencies to market Chinese Forthing vehicles in Iraq.

According to the Ministry of Trade, the agreement covers the marketing of Forthing models across various categories, with the aim of expanding vehicle options for citizens and state institutions. Hashim Mohammed Hatim, Director General of the General Company for Cars and Machinery Trade, said the partnership forms part of the company's broader strategy to provide vehicles meeting a range of technical and operational requirements.

Forthing is a passenger vehicle brand under Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, a division of China's Dongfeng Motor Group, offering sedans, MPVs and SUVs.
