Concrete Plant Closed in Baghdad over Environmental Violations

A concrete plant in the Al-Fahamah area near Baghdad's Jazirat Baghdad district has been closed following a field inspection that found it was not meeting environmental standards.

Environment Minister Sarwa Abdul-Wahid carried out the inspection in response to complaints from local residents.
