A delegation from the Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC), led by Baroness Emma Nicholson, has met with Finance Minister Faleh Sari to discuss investment opportunities in Iraq and the potential for expanding economic partnerships between the two countries.
The delegation included a number of Iraqi and British companies. According to the Ministry of Finance, Faleh Sari reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting the private sector and creating an investment environment capable of attracting quality companies and capital.
Baroness Nicholson expressed the IBBC's interest in expanding the activities of Iraqi and British companies in Iraq and strengthening ties between them to create new opportunities for partnership and investment across various sectors.
