Air Transat Licence for Canada-Iraq Flights

A temporary licence has been granted to Canada's Air Transat to provide scheduled international air services between Canada and Iraq via code sharing.

The licence is valid until 30th June 2028.

According to the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA), the authority is classified as extra bilateral, as no existing agreement or arrangement between Canada and Iraq covers scheduled international air services by a Canadian carrier.
