Pertamina (was Perusahaan Pertambangan Minyak dan Gas Bumi Negara, lit. 'State Oil and Natural Gas Mining Company') is an Indonesian state-owned oil and natural gas corporation based in Jakarta. It was created in August 1968 by the merger of Pertamin (established 1961) and Permina (established 1957).

Fields in Iraq: West Qurna I. Acquired a 10% stake in the field from ExxonMobil in November 2013. This was later increased to 20 percent; according to the company's Annual Report for 2023:

"Exxonmobil Iraq Limited ("EMIL") and PT Pertamina Irak Eksplorasi Produksi ("PIREP") have signed an Amended and Restated Asset Sales Agreement ("ASA") regarding the addition of 10% participating interest (PI) of PIREP in West Qurna I on December 31, 2022. This transfer will increase PIREP's PI to 20%."

July 2023: Rumours that Petronas is in negotiations to sell its stake in the Garraf field to Pertamina.

February 2025: In discussions regarding development of Block 3.
