Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has announced the approval of eight new service projects in Wasit Province, with a total cost of 236 billion dinars [$180 million].
The projects focus on improving water and sewerage infrastructure, including:
- Al-Bashaer sewerage project (6.86 billion dinars)
- Al-Dhahab/Zurbatiya sewerage project (0.715 billion dinars)
- Badra sewerage project (18.123 billion dinars)
- Al-Hafriya sewerage project (91.866 billion dinars)
- Al-Zubaidiya sewerage project (43.701 billion dinars)
- Sewerage treatment plant with pipelines in Al-Shahemiya (25 billion dinars)
- Sewerage treatment plant with pumping station and pipelines in Al-Dabuni (24.1 billion dinars)
- Sewerage treatment plant with transmission lines in Wasit (21 billion dinars)
These projects aim to enhance essential infrastructure and public services in the province.
