Iraq's Minister of Finance, Taif Sami Mohammed, met with a representative from the German Agency for International Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, GIZ) on Wednesday to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in financial and technical sectors.
The discussions focused on supporting development projects, achieving sustainable growth, and exchanging expertise to improve financial services. The minister emphasised the importance of collaboration to deliver tangible economic benefits and enhance service efficiency.
GIZ's representative reviewed past achievements and successful models that have supported national plans and proposed technical and financial mechanisms for further cooperation. Both parties agreed to maintain ongoing communication and hold follow-up meetings to monitor the implementation of agreements.
GIZ reaffirmed its commitment to providing the necessary support to strengthen bilateral relations.
