The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani, has visited the Dora Oil Complex in Baghdad.
He was received by Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of Midland Refineries Company, and Ali Abdul-Karim Al-Moussawi, Director General of Oil Pipelines Company.
The minister inspected operations at the complex, which hosts Midland Refineries Company, Oil Products Distribution Company, Oil Pipelines Company, and Heavy Engineering Equipment Company (HEESCO). He called for improved performance, the preservation and development of Iraq's resources, and the continuation of achievements that support the national economy.
Minister Al-Suad also commended the safety teams within the oil companies for their effective cooperation with civil defence units in extinguishing a fire in an orchard in the Dora area the previous day.
