Iraq's Building Research Directorate, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU) to strengthen collaboration across the engineering sector.
The agreement was signed by Director General Hussein Faraj Al-Hassnawi and Engineers Union President Dhulfiqar Houshi, focusing on expanding joint work in research, training, and knowledge exchange.
Key areas of cooperation include:
- Joint studies and technical research
- Training programmes for engineering professionals
- Exchange of expertise between institutions
- Support for construction and development activities
Officials said the partnership is intended to enhance engineering capabilities and contribute to the advancement of infrastructure and development projects across Iraq.
