Communications Minister Meets Huawei to Discuss 5G Rollout

Iraq's Communications Minister, Mustafa Jabbar Sanad has chaired a meeting with Chinese telecoms firm Huawei to discuss the rollout of fifth-generation (5G) network technology in the country.

According to the Ministry of Communications, the meeting, attended by senior ministry officials, reviewed the readiness of infrastructure for 5G services and followed up on the requirements for implementing the technology as part of efforts to develop Iraq's telecommunications sector.
