Sweden's Enzymatica AB has signed a long-term exclusive distribution agreement with MedonyX, a company backed by Jordanian healthcare and market-access firm MMDS, for the registration, marketing, sale and distribution of its ColdZyme mouth spray in Jordan and Iraq. Launch in both markets is expected in the first quarter of 2027, subject to local regulatory approval.
According to Enzymatica, the partnership will draw on MMDS's regional platform, including pharmacist-led regulatory, marketing and sales teams, as well as its market-access experience and local distribution channels. MMDS, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Amman, has previously launched brands including those from Arkopharma, FAES Farma, Solvotrin Therapeutics and Karo Healthcare across the region.
ColdZyme is an enzyme-based mouth spray designed to form a protective barrier in the mouth and throat, intended to treat and alleviate common cold and flu-like symptoms.
