The Observer Foundation has honoured the Minister of Communication, Eng Farouk Abdel Qader Abdel-Rahman, with a building and reconstruction award for outstanding efforts made to obtain the fourth mobile phone license.
Abdul Rahman was praised during ceremony for the prominent role the ministry played to get this license. As a result advanced and modern services will be offered as well as subsidised prices for the Iraqi people. In addition other achievements and projects provided by the Ministry have lead to an advancement of communications, and the provision of better services, including the revival of landline telephones.
