If you believe the crap written in Tom's post... then you deserve to be separated from your money.
I've never read a more ridiculous bunch of nonsense... and it has been pushed around all the dinar boards and praised by the many "schnooks".

  2. IQD NO RV 2nd March 2011 at 11:14 #

RV isn't soon if you read some news on how much their paying their minstries (8 to 12 million dinar). Do you really think theyre going to pay these guys $6800- $12000 a month then revalue the dinar so these guys are ubber rich? I DONT THINK SO, AND I HOPE YOU WOULDN'T. AND I AM AN IRAQI DINAR INVESTOR. READ THE ACTUAL NEWS AND NOT THESE RUMORS. LOOK AT THE NUMBERS.

  3. Sam I Am 2nd March 2011 at 12:55 #

The governments oil exchanged for Dinars sounds well and good if that's what one believes but how does that benefit individuals? If this supposed change is not expected to take place until 2 more years-why are people so bent on scamming! Because of greed people no longer use logic or common sence and have chosen to believe lies rather than the truth that is before them. Fact: each month-towards the end of the month- rumors are circulated about the RV of the Iraqi Dinar to increase sales. People get on the calls and are fed a bunch of lies by experts who supposedly have 1st hand knowledge. Yet- nothing materializes month after month it is a repetitive cycle. When visiting the CBI site the. 1170 @ the US section remains the same-month after month. Hint: if those numbers don't change don't believe the hype! Hint 2: There is nothing posted at this site under recent news to validate the rumors- nothing on CNN or any other news channel. Hint 3: People are encouraged to ignore the obvious- "Because they have people in Iraq" who say there has been a RV- rates are given as actual rates yet nothing is ever published. Fact: People in Iraq are protesting bcz they are being rationed food; they need money and they need jobs- by the way this is what the CBI is supposed to be doing- yet we are told there has been a RV of the Dinar. Fact: if the Dinar RV has occurred in other parts of the world- where is the evidence? Since Dec of last year it was supposed to have hit other countries (as indicated above) and on its way to the US? What happened? Fact: each month there has been some reason given to rationalize the "hold up" or why the RV had not happened: Govmt wasn't seated- all positions were not filled- parliament had not approved the budget/final draft not approved/needed to be read 2 or 3 times/ wasn't approved- final draft was approved; nothing left to do-the waiting is over-you can cash in next week! Then silence---until its close to the end of the month and new rumors start again. As long as people continue to entertain the rumors and make the purchases the cycle will continue to evolve. By the way.... This is not the same Tom that wrote the previous comment.... And by the way again....Nice job tom...:) first of all I will say both sides I find both interesting and I am becoming educated. My view is to each is own. I am an investor my input echos a few u.... if you put in a small investment... 1 that's sensible and won't break your bank account and there's is a chance (even if it's a small chance ) that it can be become something very worthwhile in the end. Why not... Most people blow in 1 night in vegas of what I have invested. If I had a choice between vegas or this dinar investment I'm willing to take my chances on the dinar. With what I have read thus far, my gut feeling tells me this thing is gonna hit and I have the time to wait ... when it does. All I can say for those of you who invested keep the faith and hang in there. For u downers ....well...ummm...could be ugly when this investment hits. Good luck to all the investors.

  8. Stew 3rd March 2011 at 09:50 #

Here’s how stupid that post is.
For the first few years on the dinar forums the gurus (idiots) claimed that Iraq had to RV or they would be just giving their oil away.
They didn’t understand the basic concept that oil is sold for dollars. They literally thought Iraq was selling their oil for 100 dinars a barrel. These are the same experts you guys believe.
As ridiculously stupid as that claim was by the gurus, this latest claim that Iraq is going to except dinar for oil is even more insane.
Iraq has sold all those dinar for basically a tenth of a penny. That’s what they got for them. If they except them as payment for oil at an RVd rate of $1 or $3 per dinar then that means Iraq has pre-sold every barrel of oil they can get out of the ground for the next hundred of so years for practically nothing. Iraq would not earn another dollar for 100 or so years.
So the gurus are now claiming Iraq can RV by doing exactly what they mistakenly thought Iraq was doing years ago and claiming then that they had to RV because of it.
The idiotic circular logic is hilarious.

Here’s an example of what they are saying. Let’s say Ford and GM decides to sell gift certificates for cars. They sell millions of $30 gift certificates. Every person in the country buys one. Then they announce a 1000x increase. They say the gift certificates are now worth $30,000. Everyone runs out and buys a new car. It would take Ford and GM years to fulfill the orders and they have pre-sold all those cars for $30.
That’s exactly what that post claims Iraq is going to do.
Continue to attack me personally because you can’t address the facts. It’s typical dinaraholic behavior that affects me not one bit.
Ask Mark Deweaver what he thinks of that post. I'd love to hear his response to it.

You r a pretty entertaining guy Stew and I can't take away your knowledge ....u seem to know ur stuff ...but it does seem our friend Tom...(the other Tom:)) also has quite of bit of knowledge. Both of u r impressive. But as I review the number of comments again on this particular update which is now @ 58!! I just wonder if those who r really against this investment kind of went to far with the amount they decided to invest. One would think if they r that knowledgeable about investing they would of been cautious to begin with and just invest an amount that wouldn't be so painful if u lost it. Something tells me the word GREED fits in this pic. My investment in this thing is small compared to the ones who have invested big and think at this point they have lost. My thought is doesn't one do the same thing in the stock market with other investments?? That place is a HUGE vegas with a number of intellegent people. And money is being gained and lost all the time

  10. Stew 3rd March 2011 at 11:16 #

I have no problem with the other Tom. The other Tom didn't write that post. He copy/pasted it from a somewhere else. It's been passed around on all the dinar boards. It was originally written by Dinar Daddy. It's ridiculous. It’s so fundamentally flawed on so many levels it’s hard to even know where to start critiquing it.
Again… it claims Iraq has pre-sold Trillions of dollars worth of oil (a hundred years worth) for .00085 cents on the dollar. You really think that’s knowledgeable?
The funny thing is that post was written to me by Dinar Daddy. He use to allow comments on his sight but he closed them down because it was bad for business to allow the truth be told.

  11. Stew 3rd March 2011 at 11:31 #

Here's the Original post from Dinar Daddy.
Should not be hard looking through the comments to figure out what name I posted as on his board.

  12. Stew 3rd March 2011 at 17:31 #

The great Rudolph Coenen says Iraq will RV to $1.75 to $2.12.
Let’s just round it to $2 and look at that number.
Iraq has 27 Trillion dinar in circulation. A $2 RV would give Iraq 54 Trillion dollars worth of dinar in circulation.
The whole world currently has about 5 Trillion dollars worth of currency in circulation.
That’s all the dollars, euros, yen, yaun, pounds, pesos, dinar… all of them added together equals about 5 Trillion dollars worth.
So tiny war torn Iraq with practically no economy at all other than oil sales which are done in dollars is going to have 11 times more currency than the rest of the world combined.
    Now that’s genius.

  13. codeman 3rd March 2011 at 18:10 #

Stew you are not correct on 5 trillion dollars in circulation. Please do some more research.

  14. Carmen 3rd March 2011 at 20:50 #

I am new at this dinar trade, and I believe it will RV, I am excited, I spoke to several experienced people about the purchase of the dinars, and the all agreed I should go for it. So therefore, I have.

Scroll down to Table 5. As of Feb 21, 2011 there are 933 Billion dollars in circulation.
    Still less than 1 trillion.

all i know is i spend more trying to win the lottery so what the hell if i wait a year and maybe make a nickel a dinar its more than what i had!

  18. Stew 5th March 2011 at 20:12 #

    Ok... read this.
    http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/05/world/middleeast/05iraq.html?_r=1&src=me
"Fear has also extended to the central bank, where officials said they worried that Mr. Maliki would now have the power to order the institution to print money to cover Iraq’s growing budget deficits. Such a move would weaken the value of Iraq’s anemic currency and lead to rapid inflation."

Now... If the Iraqi dinar were undervalued 100,000 to 300,000 percent as the scammers keep claiming... why in the heck would such a concern even exist?

  19. Harry 6th March 2011 at 07:20 #

Hahaha, I just purchased 2 million Iraqi dinars for $2,220. I would have blown that same amount in less than an hour had I went to Las Vegas. If those dinars end up being worthless, I'm sure I wouldn't lose a sleep for them. If they do RV, then my breakfast, lunch and dinner for a day will have been taken care of. Wise investors invest only money they can afford to lose.

when is the big rv? does anyone know or if it will rv?

  23. Leon 7th March 2011 at 16:54 #

I to have made a small investment in the dinar. I think this. The government will knock three zero's off the dinar, then RV. This means if you bought 2,000,000 dinar. It will become 2,000 dinar then the RV will occur say at 3 dollars. 3x2000= 6000. less investment about 4000 profit.
We are buying in dollars and receiving dinar. They got their money already.
They are selling Vietnam Dong at 1000 dollars for 10,000,000 dong.
In Vietnam 1000 dollars buys 22,000,000 dong. We know who is making the money at the investors expence.( the companies that sell dinar and dongs. I hope we are all not dongs.

  24. Tom 8th March 2011 at 06:40 #

hey stew i think you are the one to ask when is the RV? i to made in investment in the dinar.

  26. Stew 8th March 2011 at 10:31 #

Towards the end of last year we saw a number of articles that said the CBI would “delete 3 zeros” LOP once the Gov was seated. They said Parliament had to approve a few things before they could do it. The problem was the delay in getting the Gov seated and a big delay was Maliki putting the control of the CBI under himself and the Cabinet. Look at the article I just posted from the NY Times. The CBI became worried that Maliki would do something stupid with the currency and destroy the value. So they weren’t going to do anything with that threat looming over them. Now… I’ve seen a few stories lately that the Supreme Council has reversed their ruling and said the CBI has to remain independent. If this is true… then look for the CBI to push the “delete 3 zero” (lop) plan again. It could happen in the next couple months.
It is a lop… not an RV as the dealers/gurus/scammers want you to believe. You will be very lucky if you get your investment back.

SOOO, do you smart felers think I waisted my fricken money? If so that realy sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!Should I hang in there?????????? Or cash out?????? Thanks guys and good luck. I still have FAITH.....

  28. Tony 8th March 2011 at 21:25 #

Stew, How can you know that for certain?

  29. Stew 9th March 2011 at 10:30 #

How do I know what for certain Tony?
The first part about the delete 3 zero articles and the CBI stating they were going to do it once the Gov was seated and could appove a few things is a fact... as long as you believe the articles.
The delay due to them taking so long to seat a Gov and then Maliki putting the CBI under himself and the Cabinet seems pretty straight foward.
I'd like to see more clarification on whether the CBI is still under Maliki and the Cabinets control or if they have returned it's endependence. Should see more on that soon.
The CBI has been saying they will lop for the last 4 years now... they just never gave a time frame until last year when they said they would do it by the end of the year. So it seems they are ready to do it as long as they have control of the money supply and not Maliki/cabinet. Will they actually do it? Of course no one really knows that for certain at this point. They can drag their feet for years more if they want. Honestly... As long as people are still buying thier currency and sticking it in shoe boxes in their closet I don't know why they would change a thing.

  30. butch 9th March 2011 at 12:55 #

Stew check out this site and tell me what you think about it http://iraqcurrencywatch.wordpress.com/2010/09/17/the-truth-about-the-iraqi-dinar-part-3/

  31. Stew 10th March 2011 at 13:44 #

    Butch
For the most part… he’s clueless. He talked about the dinar getting released from the OFAC list. All the pumpers jumped on that news. It was nothing. The dinar had been removed from the list years ago. What they were jumping on was the notice that they had actually incorporated the changes into the list. It took them years to do the paper work basically. But the gurus didn’t want to hear that… it sold many more dinars to tell people this was something big happening at the moment.
Same with sanctions. It’s a big dinar dealer lie that Iraq is still under sanctions. Bush removed almost all of the sanctions against Iraq right after Saddam was captured. The only sanctions that Iraq has been under for years now is that they can’t deal in weapons, and they didn’t have compete control over the Development Fund Iraq.
He pushes the same dealer/pumper lie about Pres order 13303. That order protects the DFI and other Iraqi assets from lawsuits… and that’s it. It has nothing to do with the dinar. Big dealer pumper lie. A dinar dealer actually put out a fake Press Release about 13303 years ago and everyone ate up the lie. The lie has been exposed over and over but the dealers knowingly continue to push the same lie… why? It sells dinars.
His talk of money supply numbers is highly flawed. I’ve shown the numbers with links to prove it on this site many times. I wont do it again here.
His last paragraph shows he doesn’t even have a basic understanding of currencies. He and the other gurus always talk about how the dollar is a fiat currency and is backed by nothing. It’s a good sounding argument to those they try to scam. The US dollar gets it’s value through the Forex market. It’s value is determined by supply and demand. The US GDP is 13 or 14 Trillion dollars a year. Many other countries use dollars. That all provides a MASSIVE demand for dollars. That’s where it’s value comes from.
Iraq pegs their currency. They do not back it with oil. They back it with dollars that they get from oil sales. They also have to use those dollars to rebuild and run their country. It is only extra dollars left over that can then be applied to FX reserves to back the currency.
Back to my original statement…. He’s clueless.

  32. ron 10th March 2011 at 15:29 #

hey marcus--stew thinks your clueless--or is the other way around. all i ever hear from stew is negativity. i think you are right on. all stew wants us to do is give us our dinars so when the rv does come he will be laughing all the way collecting our money. why do people listen to him. he may have some inside track, but i have heard from other sources more in the know than him. hang in there people and hang on to your dream.

  33. Stew 11th March 2011 at 08:58 #

Central Bank of Iraq Dec financials.
    http://www.cbi.iq/documents/key%20financial.xls

Currency outside of Banks = 24.3 trillion
Dinar Cash in Banks = 3.1 trillion'
Total currency in circulation = 27.4 trillion dinars.
    M1= 51.7 Trillion
    M2= 60.4 Trillion

  34. Stew 11th March 2011 at 11:54 #

Just for comparison. The US Fed
    http://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/h6/current/h6.htm

    Currency in circ. $930 billion
    M1= $1.9 trillion
    M2= $8.9 trillion

So Iraq has 29 times more currency in circulation
They have 27 times more M1
They have 6.7 times more M2

The US GDP (size of economy) is about 140 times bigger than Iraqs, and most of Iraqs GDP is from oil sales which are in dollars.
The US GDP is about 900 times bigger than Iraq dinar GDP.

So Iraq has about 27 times more supply of currency, yet the US has about 900 times more demand.

Any talk of a big RV is pure fantasy nonsense. It’s a scam.

  35. terry w 12th March 2011 at 19:57 #

time will tell people.. if and when the rv happens those who invested will become millionaires over night.. and if it never happens? we all bought some paper to wipe away the tears with.. all i can say is if you invested more than you could afford to lose then thats nobodies fault but your own..

  36. Ronald 14th March 2011 at 13:00 #

Why can’t we buy oil with the dinars we are buying it at a low price
and this way they will see the dinars value and they might up the value of the dinar

  37. jc 15th March 2011 at 12:53 #

I don't understand how Stew can say that the currency of a country can be a scam. It's being sold by banks here in the US. The dollar fluctuates in value daily. I don't understand how he doesn't feel that can't happen with the Dinar, once the currency is internationally recognized. Iraq has some more growing to do. The Dinar will revalue and those who took the courage to believe in Iraq will reap the benefit. You can't win if you don't play the game. By the way Stew your figures on he amount of physical currency in circulation may or may not be correct but as you know currency can be created out of thin air and most of that is in the form of electronic funds. (Fractional Banking)

anyone know why the lastest news has not come from iraq since march 3rd?

  41. JDH 23rd March 2011 at 20:22 #

stew has some very good points; namely, pointing out that iraq has much more money in circulation than the US, enen after factoring in the value discrepancy. That makes clear there is no reason to revalue the currency. I just invested and wish I hadn't now, but I still think its as good an investment as risky stock. Also one glaring error Stew made is saying Iraq has more money in circulation than rest of the world combined; all the numbers he's basing his conclusio are in US dollars, meaning other currencies are devalued accordingly. But for most part, Stew seems like the guy I wish I'd talked to before buying earlier today.

  42. Stew 24th March 2011 at 08:00 #

Not sure why you think I made a glaring error. I clearly stated that if Iraq RV'd to 1:1, that would give te dinar 5 times more VALUE than all the currency in the world added together.
Iraq would have 27 Trillion dollars worth of dinar in circulation.
All the other currency in the world, dollars, Euros, Yen, all the rest... add them all together and there is only about 5 trillion dollars worth.
    Those are publishd facts.
    How is that an error?

  43. Matt 24th March 2011 at 14:25 #

    Stew and other investors,

Looking to invest, have a question, if the US Dollar keeps going down against other currencies around the world then the Dinar should increase in value against the dollar. We could all play this same game with other currencies from other countries. There may not be as much upside but people do it all the time. I do wonder though, could the Iraq government cancel out this currancy and print new and call this no good, I'm hearing the date on the Dinar is 2003, which has me concerned. Welcome responses by all!!

  44. Matt 24th March 2011 at 14:30 #

Also if the Irag government is selling thier oil for $100.00 USD, then that should equate out to approx 117600 dinar, so they could be paid in USD or Dinar, if I was there in Iraq, it wouldn't matter to me if I had 117600 Dinar or 100.00 USD unless I'm missing something.

  45. Mrs.Bradley 26th March 2011 at 16:56 #

Stew, I'm trying to figure out why you bother taking your time to dampen the excitement? If you're so up in arms about this potential jack pot, why don't you go do something else with your time. Like, go find and investment you actually think is worth it... You could be missing the boat as we speak bantering about how dinars are a point less investment!

I've had my dinar for seven years. I could care less if it takes another seven years and they only RV at 20 cents! We will all still be coming out ahead. Some thing will give, at some point. Life is ever changing.

  46. brian 27th March 2011 at 14:34 #

i have read all the post on this page , and still do not know if the dinar is a good investment are not . with all the crazy stuff going on in this world and the high price of gas i really do not know if i should invest are not . the only thing i know is that i want to take care of my family the best way i can . i wish i knew someone that really knows what what be the smart thing to do . i am a simple man who only wake care of my family the best way i can . i would hate to make a mistake on making a decision if i should invest in the dinar or not . i would love to be able to make a rational decision , and take care of my family for the rest of our lives . i know that there are no magical way of predicting the future , but it would be nice to provide my family with a better life . i will continue to read , and i hope i make a smart choice . good luck to all.

  47. Matt 28th March 2011 at 13:40 #

Did my comments get seen by everyone?

  48. Tom 31st March 2011 at 08:00 #

This is the other Tom again I've commented a couple times before and will add a couple more. One of the comments would be responding to Mrs Bradley ...first off I saw this coming and headed torward Stews way although Stew seems to be a bright guy some of the comments made were going to cause some strong responses i.e. Mrs. Bradley...and thus here we are. Her point has validity and most people have is nothing but time, I've had my investment for 2 yrs now and would say its a reasonable investment to where if it hits big my family and I will not have worry about much in the future and if I don't hit...well let's put it this way...I'm not going to be in the street begging for a spare quarter. So the latter part of the comment lends itself to Brians concern
