Najaf Airport Wins Operating Licence

The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority (ICAA) has granted an operating licence to Najaf International Airport, following a ceremony attended by the Governor of Najaf and the head of the ICAA.

The authority said the licence was issued after the airport completed the technical and regulatory requirements in accordance with the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), with the aim of enhancing safety levels, operational efficiency, and air transport services for passengers travelling to and from Najaf province.
