- A cross transaction occurred on 24.8 bn shares of Al-Qabedh Islamic Bank for Finance and Investment (BQAB), valued at IQD1.74 bn, on Aug. 30, corresponding to 9.9% of BQAB's capital.
- Al Taif Islamic Bank for Investment and Finance (BTIB) disclosed that there are no undisclosed material events behind the decline of its share price during the Aug. 30 and Aug. 31 sessions, noting that the decline may have resulted from factors related to the current economic situation, traders' behavior, supply and demand volumes, and liquidity fluctuations, without any internal information or material decisions issued by the bank.
- According to the ISC decision on Sep. 3, ISX suspended trading of Al Taif Islamic Bank for Investment and Finance (BTIB) starting Sep. 3, after the Central Bank of Iraq decided to place the bank under guardianship for 18 months and appointed Emad Mohammed Hamad as the guardian.
- According to the ISC decision on Aug. 31, ISX transferred the trading of Al-Hilal Industries (IHLI) from the Undisclosed Companies Market (UCM) to the regular market starting Sep. 2, after the company submitted its 2024 annual financial statements and paid the due fine.
- Iraqi Land Transport (SILT) will hold its AGM on Oct. 26 to elect five original and five alternative board members. The company has been suspended from trading since Mar. 3, 2024, for not submitting its AGM minutes, and will remain suspended by an ISC decision for not meeting the financial disclosure requirements.
- The ISC approved on Aug. 30 the listing, deposit, and trading of the shares of Ur International Insurance Company on the ISX-OTC market, pending the company's completion of the listing procedures.
- The ISC approved on Aug. 30 the listing, deposit, and trading of the shares of Al-Ittihad Al-Iraqi Insurance, Al-Tadhamun Insurance, Al-Sadiq Insurance, Al-Murtakaz Insurance, Al-Wadq Insurance, Al-Damenoon Al-Arab Insurance, and Takaful Al-Iraq Islamic Takaful Insurance on the ISX-OTC market, pending the companies' completion of the listing procedures.
- The shares of Al-Khair Insurance Company (NKHA), with a capital of IQD5.0 bn, will be available for deposit starting Sep. 1 on the ISX-OTC market. Trading will start after 5% of the company's shares are deposited and 21 days pass from the deposit start date, i.e. from Sep. 22.
Stocks that resumed / will resume trading:
- Al-Khatem Telecoms (TZNI) resumed trading on Sep. 2 after holding its AGM on Aug. 26, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements, and decided to distribute an IQD0.0542 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 1.2% dividend yield.
- According to the ISC decision on Aug. 31, ISX transferred the trading of Sumer Commercial Bank (BSUC), Mosul Bank for Development and Investment (BMFI), Union Bank of Iraq (BUOI), United Bank (BUND), World Islamic Bank for Investment and Finance (BWOR), Ameen Al-Iraq Bank for Islamic Investment (BAME), Ishtar Hotels (HISH), National Company for Tourism Investment (HNTI), Modern Animal and Agricultural Production (AMAP), and Babil Animal and Vegetable Production (ABAP) to the Undisclosed Companies Market (UCM) and resumed trading starting Sep. 2.
Stocks that were suspended / will be suspended from trading:
- ISX suspended trading of Rehab Karbala (HKAR) starting Aug. 31 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 3 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements and electing five original and five alternative board members.
- ISX will suspend trading of Iraqi for Tufted Carpets (IITC) starting Sep. 13 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 16 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements and dividend distribution.
- ISX will suspend trading of Al-Qurtas Islamic Bank for Investment and Finance (BQUR) starting Sep. 15 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 18 to discuss and approve increasing the capital from IQD250.0 bn to IQD300.0 bn through a 20.0% (56/Fourth).
- ISX will suspend trading of Modern Sewing (IMOS) starting Sep. 16 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 21 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements, and dividend distribution.
- ISX will suspend trading of Baghdad for Packing Materials (IBPM) starting Sep. 22 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 27 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements and electing five original and five alternative board members.
- ISX will suspend trading of Kharkh Tour Amuzement City (SKTA) starting Sep. 27 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 30 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, and increasing the capital from IQD1.6 bn to IQD2.1 bn through a 31.3% issue (55/Fourth).
- ISX will suspend trading of Modern Construction Materials Industry (IMCM) starting Sep. 28 due to the AGM that will be held on Oct. 1 to elect four original and four alternative board members from the private sector.
- ISX will suspend trading of Al-Warka Investment Bank (BWAI) (OTC) starting Sep. 11 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 12 to discuss and approve the 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 annual financial statements, increasing the capital from IQD271.27 bn to IQD300.0 bn through a 10.6% rights issue, and electing seven original and seven alternative board members. The bank will resume trading on Sep. 13.
