Meeting Between Iraqi Ambassador and IBBC MD

Iraq's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Dr Salih Husain Ali Al-Tamimi, has met with Christophe Michels, Managing Director of the Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC), at the Iraqi Embassy in London.

The meeting covered preparations for the IBBC's upcoming Autumn Conference at Cumberland Lodge, as well as the Council's future economic agenda. Discussions also addressed the impact of regional political and security developments on the Iraqi economy, and measures being taken to foster investment.

Michels outlined plans to encourage British companies operating in countries neighbouring Iraq to participate in forthcoming conferences. The meeting was also attended by Counsellor Atheer Alsaedy, Head of the Economic Section at the Embassy.
