Iraq-Syria Oil Pipeline MoU Approved

Iraq's Council of Ministers has authorised the chief executive of Basra Oil Company (BOC) to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Oil and Syria's Ministry of Energy.

The agreement covers the establishment of a pipeline project to connect Iraqi oil production to global export markets via the Mediterranean.
