  • A cross transaction occurred on 789.5 mn shares of The Iraqi Company for Deposit Insurance (FIDI) (OTC), valued at IQD789.5 mn, on Aug. 26.
  • Iraqi for Seed Production (AISP) will start distributing its 2022 fiscal year cash dividend of IQD0.40 per share on Aug. 23.
  • Iraq's Communications and Media Commission (CMC) and Zain Iraq (a subsidiary of Al-Khatem Telecoms (TZNI)) have launched a six-month training partnership focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and its practical applications, aimed at embedding AI use within the CMC and developing staff capabilities. (Iraqi Business News)

Stocks that resumed / will resume trading:

  • Original shares of Mamoura Real Estate Inv. (SMRI) resumed trading on Aug. 23 after holding its AGM on Aug. 17, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements, and increasing the capital from IQD22.78 bn to IQD31.0 bn through a 36.08% rights issue.
  • National Islamic Bank (BNAI) resumed trading on Aug. 26 due to disclosing its 2025 annual financial results and paying the due fine.
  • Iraqi Agricultural Products Marketing Meat (AIPM) resumed trading on Aug. 26 after holding its AGM on Aug. 11, in which they discussed and approved 2024 annual financial statements, and decided to distribute an IQD0.10 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 2.1% dividend yield.
  • Ready Made Clothes (IRMC) resumed trading on Aug. 26 after holding its AGM on Aug. 12, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements, and decided to distribute an IQD0.095 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 4.1% dividend yield.
  • Original shares of Al-Hamraa for Insurance (NHAM) resumed trading on Aug. 27 after holding its AGM on Aug. 20, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements, and increasing the capital from IQD25.0 bn to IQD40.0 bn through a 60.0% bonus issue.
  • International Islamic Bank (BINT) resumed trading on Aug. 27 due to disclosing its 2025 annual financial results and paying the due fine.

Stocks that were suspended / will be suspended from trading:

  • ISX will suspend trading of Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance (NGIR) starting Sep. 8 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 13 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements, and increasing the capital from IQD7.0 bn to IQD8.0 bn through a 14.3% rights issue.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Asia Al Iraq Islamic Bank for Investment (BAIB) starting Sep. 14 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 17 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements and merging with Al Mal Islamic Bank for Investment (BMAL).
  • ISX will suspend trading of Al-Batek Insurance Company (NBAT) (OTC) starting Sep. 8 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 8 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements and electing new original and alternative board members. The company will resume trading on Sep. 9.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Almaseer Insurance Company (NMAS) (OTC) starting Sep. 15 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 15 to discuss and approve increasing the capital from IQD13.0 bn to IQD17.0 bn through a 30.8% bonus issue, and from IQD17.0 bn to IQD20.0 bn through a 17.6% rights issue. The company will resume trading on Sep. 16.
