Proposals for a joint Iraqi-Austrian agricultural centre have been discussed in Baghdad.
Minister of Agriculture Abdul-Rahim Jassim met with Austrian Ambassador Axel Wech this week to explore the possibility of establishing the centre, which would aim to strengthen scientific and technical cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides also discussed ways to develop and upgrade Iraqi agricultural laboratories to meet international standards in efficiency and scientific advancement.
