Iraq's Council of Ministers has approved a ban on the export of copper and its alloys, aluminium and its alloys, lead, and iron alloys in all forms and scrap, citing urgent domestic industrial need and the requirement to ensure adequate supply to local factories.
The decision also restricts the domestic trading of these metals to within the country.
